It's so easy to set up
The typical setup for an Orienteering event
Each orienteer is equipped with a reuseable transponder SIAC, SI-Card or ComCard. At the control points you set up SPORTident stations. As soon as a orienteer passes a station, the system records his time. The intelligent software evaluates the time. That's it.

The SPORTident system is comprised of two basic elements: stations and cards. Stations are placed on the course. Each station has a unique control number. Every orienteer carries a SPORTident card which records the time and control number as he or she passes the stations during the competition.
After the competition, the SPORTident card holds the orienteer's start-finish time, split times as well as all control numbers. This data is used to evaluate the competition.
